Hi,

It’s all happening this month.  We’re working hard to bring out new products including mock papers for the Diploma in Financial Planning.  As a result we changed our menu system on the website a couple of weeks ago.  This should make it easier to navigate to the exam papers you are interested in based on the Certificate (financial services or insurance) or Diploma exam you are sitting.  We hope you agree that this is a great improvement.   

On another note, myself and a number of businesses have found that certain emails are not getting through to Tiscali email addresses.  If you have a Tiscali email address registered with us, please email me directly at catriona@brandft.co.uk with an alternative.  Unfortunately Tiscali are refusing to respond to our efforts to resolve this problem at present so we do not know how long this problem will remain.

CF1 & CF6 WORKBOOKS

A few weeks ago we launched our CF1 and CF6 calculation workbooks.  We’ve had amazing feedback already and we’d like to thank those of you who have contacted us to tell us how much they have helped you.

DIPLOMA MOCK EXAM PAPERS

We now have available mock exam papers for J01 ‘Personal tax’.  J02 ‘Trusts’ will be launched very shortly.  As always, fre-e questions are also provided.  So if you have any colleagues studying for the Diploma in Financial Planning, please do let them know about our website.

DIPLOMA IN FINANCIAL PLANNING – MOCK PAPERS

Many of you have progressed your way through Certificate level exams and have been asking us whether we can help with Diploma level exams.  The good news is that we have recently launched mock papers for J01, and we have mock papers for J02 arriving shortly with J04 and J06 coming in January.  The remaining Diploma mock exam papers will arrive a month or two later.  And as always, we provide FREE mock questions for each exam.

GENERAL INSURANCE – NEW EXAM SYLLABUS

The exam syllabus for the general insurance exams changes on 1 January 2009.  Make sure you have the updated study text.  Contact the CII to place your order.  Our mock questions for IF1 will be updated shortly.
