J02 : Trusts
The CII's J02 exam forms part of the Diploma in Financial Planning. It is a
2-hour short answer question paper consisting of 15 questions, with a nominal pass mark of 55%. The CII recommend 100 hours of study for this paper, although this can vary greatly from person to person.
The exam syllabus covers the legal principles regarding the creation and management of a trust; the common types of trust in the UK and taxation.
