CF3 : Financial protection
The CII's CF3 exam focuses on financial protection products and is a fundamental part of the Certificate in Financial Planning. It is a 1-hour multiple choice question paper consisting of 50 questions, with a pass mark of 70%.
The exam syllabus covers the purpose and scope of financial protection products, their interaction with state benefits, the different types of protection contract and their features, how protection products can be used to meet the needs of a client, and the main protection needs of businesses.
