About Us
Brand Financial Training was formed to assist individuals studying for CII exams. We continuously survey students to find out what products and services will help them to pass their exams first time. We then work hard to produce them. All our materials are written and developed by individuals who have already sat the exam in question, or its equivalent. We have extensive experience within the financial services industry and are well qualified.

Catriona Brand is the founder of Brand Financial Training and is an experienced educator, trainer, facilitator and coach. She has worked in both IT and financial services covering many areas from advisory roles through to training, development and coaching. She is an expert in regulated financial services, personal finance and career management. |
Her financial qualifications are extensive including the CII Diploma in Financial Planning as well as a Diploma in Life Skills Coaching and Bachelor of Science Degree. She is also a qualified member of the Personal Finance Society, the Chartered Insurance Institute, and the Society of Mortgage Professionals.
Catriona is also a published writer for journals such as Money Marketing and has been written about in the Mail on Sunday. She regularly writes on matters including training in the financial services sector, personal finance education and coaching in the areas of finance and career management.

Catriona Joss has 27 years of training experience in many areas of both the public and private sectors. She spent 14 years in Financial Services as a Regulated Sales Trainer for a major Bancassurer, training, coaching and assessing all levels and areas of the salesforce and sales management before becoming a self-employed Consultant. |
Catriona has a B.Ed(Hons) Degree and Teaching Qualification, is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Life Insurance Association and holds the CII Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, which she was the first within the major Bancassurer's entire workforce to obtain after only 18 months in the industry.

Nicola Semple has worked in financial services since graduating with a BA(Hons) from Warwick University. Her experience is focused on the insurance sector, with extensive knowledge of private medical insurance as well as administering group insurances. Nicola holds the CII Certificate in Insurance and is currently progressing towards the Diploma in Insurance. She is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. |
Nicola is currently concentrating on developing study materials for the CII's Certificate in Insurance with Brand Financial Training's new Insurance arm.

Denise Milligan is an essential part of the Brand Financial Training team. She provides ongoing technical expertise for our products, services and systems, as well as supporting our marketing efforts. Denise holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and has over twenty years experience in roles ranging from marketing through to project managing and technical project work. |
As Denise lives in Colorado, USA, as well as spending time in Spain, she proves that virtual teams really do work allowing Brand Financial Training to operate throughout the day and night.
