About Us
Brand Financial Training was formed to assist individuals studying for CII and IFS Certificate and Diploma level exams in Financial Planning and General Insurance. We continuously survey students to find out what learning resources and services will help them to pass their exams first time. We then work hard to produce them. All our learning resources are written and developed by individuals who have already sat the exam in question, its equivalent, or higher. We have extensive experience within the financial services and insurance industries, and are well qualified.

Catriona Brand is the founder of Brand Financial Training and is an experienced educator, trainer, facilitator and coach. She has worked in both IT and financial services covering many areas from advisory roles through to training, development and coaching. She is an expert in regulated financial services, personal finance and career management. |
Her financial qualifications are extensive including the CII Diploma in Financial Planning as well as a Diploma in Life Skills Coaching and Bachelor of Science Degree. She is also a qualified member of the Personal Finance Society, the Chartered Insurance Institute, and the Society of Mortgage Professionals.
Catriona is also a published writer for journals such as Money Marketing and has been written about in the Mail on Sunday. She regularly writes on matters including training in the financial services sector, personal finance education and coaching in the areas of finance and career management.

A Chartered Financial Planner who is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and has over 20 years experience in the industry
A Financial Services Professional with over 35 years industry experience, a qualified Financial Services Assessor and accredited Item Writer. He also writes material on behalf of examining bodies
A CII AFPC qualified trainer with 27 years of training experience including 14 years in Financial Services as a Regulated Sales Trainer for a major Bancassurer, training, coaching and assessing all levels and areas of the salesforce and sales management
A CII AFPC qualified trainer with over 15 years training experience and over 20 years in the financial services sector
Other members of the general insurance training team include:
An Associate of the CII with over 20 years industry experience
A member of the CII who has almost completed the Diploma in Insurance, with extensive knowledge of private medical insurance as well as administering group insurances
